Calm the Mind Treatment? Scientific research shows that acupuncture releases neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin which is an effective treatment for mood regulation. Acupuncture is a natural method of improving emotional symptoms such as anxiety, depression and stress without the side effects of psychotropic medications. The Acupuncture Calm the Mind Treatment is an acupuncture protocol that will calm and ground the mind; reducing the symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression; all of which science has shown inhibits the immune system’s ability to fight off disease. The treatment does not involve giving a Chinese medicine diagnosis as it is a specific protocol. The needles will be retained for 20 minutes, you will have to remove your shirt and lay face down on the table for 25 minutes to receive the treatment.
