A Quick Visit, A Big Step Forward for Amityville

This week, we were honored to welcome New York State Secretary of State Walter Mosley and Mayor Mike O’Neil to Amityville Acupuncture & Wellness as part of their walk through our revitalizing downtown.

Although their visit to our office was brief, we had the opportunity to share details about our upcoming façade improvement project, made possible through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI). One major feature we’re excited about is the installation of temperature-controlled glass on our storefront. This will help regulate the indoor climate year-round, making our space more comfortable for both our team and patients — especially during the extremes of summer and winter when the front of the building can become difficult to work in.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support from both state and local leadership and took the opportunity to personally thank them for helping make these improvements possible. Projects like ours are part of a larger effort to enhance the look, feel, and functionality of downtown Amityville — and we’re proud to be a part of it.
