Microneedling Experts in Long Island
Dr. H and Coach Trish have been "training for life" through exercise for over two decades. Their dedication to mental, physical and spiritual health through staying active is something they are here to share with the community through Amityville Acupuncture Athletics Club Team. When Dr. Hurme was in high school she was top 7 Freshman on a team of over 100 girls and training for nationals but the pain prevented her from continuing her running career. After getting treated for this long standing life long pain with acupuncture, the pain went away. Dr. Hurme is now an endurance triathlete and completed her first Ironman in Maryland in September 2019. She has run many marathons, hundreds of 1/2 marathons as well as many long distance open water swims. She attributes her success to her family, friends, patients, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Living Life In Balance. Dr. Hurme has had endless hurdles eased by using Traditional Chinese Medicine and loves to help everyone who is in need and open to learning. Coach Trish ran track and played soccer in High School but didn’t find her love for endurance training until college. She used running as a positive outlet for everyday life stress. When she struggled with IT band syndrome and hip bursitis she was devastated because she had been training for the NYC marathon. This is when Trish started acupuncture. Not only did it fix the IT band pain but also helped with the stresses in her life. Trish ran the marathon and went on to finish a half Ironman. She also enjoys long distance open water swimming and finished the Maggie Fischer 5.5 mile swim. She contributes her success to her workout friends and her family for being the biggest supporters. Dr. H and Coach Trish start each day with a morning workout. This is how they get their mind, body and spirit ready for anything. They love sharing their passion and dedication with like minded people. Amityville Acupuncture Athletics Club Team is open to all who want to Live Life in Balance. #drh #coachtrish #amityvilleacupuncture #amityvilleacupunctureathleltics #amityville #wellness #exercise #livelifeinbalance
